She believes that somatic methods can be employed as effective tools in the quest for self-awareness and integrative healing.  Body-centered approaches to therapeutic practice are her specialization, and she regards them as essential means for managing everyday stress, and balancing emotions.

Vibhuti Jaya promotes the use of somatic, contemplative practices (like yoga and meditation) as adjunct therapies because they are powerful catalysts for personal growth and awe-inspiring transformation.  She is a huge proponent of natural medicine, and advocates the use of holistic healing methodologies via complementary and integrative health systems.

The focus of her dissertation is the continued development of her Yoga Vartula! process, whose curriculum employs yoga-inspired alternatives for the treatment of disordered eating, clinical obesity and the afflictions that accompany them.
